My Industry Career - Pt1

Updated: Aug 15, 2022

I want to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about who I am and what the BackBeat Collective is about. So, I've included an interview which explains more about who the Collective are and who I am.

I am incredibly passionate about teaching and I have a huge amount of industry experience and can definitely help with some of the challenges young artists, singers and musicians are faced with today as well as just singing for fun.

In this blog, I will be looking at all sorts of different things to do with vocal techniques, performance, confidence, nerves, stress, performance anxiety, singing and choreography, even help with songwriting and planning to help you achieve your goals. Whether its singing for fun or releasing your music and need help building a plan around that, I can help. It's really important that you know that I also believe in music for just fun, stress relief, as well as the more professional approach. I want to help everyone where I can.

I can offer you a huge, vast and varied amount of experience that I think you are going to find helpful as well as be practically useful. Hopefully I can help you in some way. So here is part 1 of the interview.

Enjoy and I will touch base with you all next week with Part 2 and the start of what I’m hoping will be a fabulous long lasting relationship.

What Our Students & Others Say

Pete Friesen

The Almighty, Alice Cooper

I've been playing with Jon for over 20 years now and he is one of the most naturally talented drummers I have ever worked with. His subtly of touch and musical instincts are fantastic, and his innate groove makes him a joy to play with. You know you're in safe hands when he is behind the kit.
