• Communication: Develop your skills to be able to communicate effectively with the engineer and the band to ensure you all achieve the desired sound.

• Timing and Pitch: Learn to perform well in the studio environment.

• At the end of the workshop, you will have the chance to record the song and music video

Overview

This 3-day workshop is designed for musicians who want to learn how to record a song in a live room for the first time. Participants will learn about the recording process, how to work with an engineer, and how to capture a high-quality

recording of their music.

Day 1

Morning:

Introduction to the song. Participants will learn the techniques required for that particular genre and style of song. Afternoon: Rehearse and workshop the song to a confident performance level standard. Record a rough demo for students take home.
