Rush - Tom Sawyer [Exit...Stage Left]

This is an iconic prog rock tune played by one of my all-time favourite drummers performing with one of my all-time favourite bands.

Performance comes from Russia's exit stage left or in 1981 the track is Tom Sawyer from the moving pictures album there are many other life versions you can watch but none with this level of energy and commitment Neil Peart is in full kung fu mode just amazing. This is such a beautifully detailed and deliciously crafted story of a drum part from someone I consider to be, quite simply, one of the greatest drummers of all time.
